Training

I did my medical degree (MB ChB) at Auckland University, then my specialty training in New Zealand at Hawke's Bay and Waikato Hospitals.  I have done one year of sub-specialty training in foot and ankle surgery in the United Kingdom at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, and at Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley, in 2009/2010.  During that time I trained with four surgeons who do specialist foot and ankle surgery and I gained broad experience in this area of practise.

Background

I have an interest in hip replacement, knee replacement, general orthopaedics and foot and ankle surgery.  I consult at Royston Hospital where I have my rooms, and I also consult at Hawke's Bay District Health Board (Hawke's Bay Hospital) in Hastings.
