"Gastroenterology - Upper GI Symptoms and Diseasepresented by Dr John Wyeth, Gastroenterologist/Endoscopist 

How to diagnose and manage gastro-oesophageal reflux, dyspepsia and upper gastrointestinal motility disorders and he relevance of H. pylori in upper gastrointestinal disease.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Know when to refer the patient with reflux or dyspepsia for further investigation
  2. Understand principles of management of reflux and dyspepsia, including drug efficacy and safety
  3. Recognise when treatment is not effective and be able to consider what options need to be considered
  4. Understand non-pharmaceutical approaches to management of reflux and dyspepsia, including nutritional interventions.
